Christmas Fun in 6th Class!

We are counting down the days to Christmas! We have been doing lots of fantastic art. Yesterday we had a special visitor and had an extra fun day. We hope everyone has a safe and happy Christmas.   

 

Science week!

Last week we had lots of fun doing different experiments for science week. We mixed food colouring with vinegar to create patterns and mix colours on bicarbonate of soda. We also experimented with bubbles making huge bubbles on our table and trying to make bubbles inside of bubbles, the most we managed was 5. It was really fun!

 

Halloween dress up!

We really enjoyed dressing up before the mid-term break! 

 

STEM Challenges

 We have been enjoying doing STEM challenges in our class. One of our challenges was to make the longest piece we could out of 1 piece of paper. We had to bring ours out to the corridor to measure them as they were so long! 

Another challenge was to make a structure with tinfoil and pipe cleaners, we had some very creative ideas!
